Mind Link
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often.
- What if I don't know what's going on with me?
- That's completely okay — you don't need a diagnosis to reach out. If you simply don't feel like yourself, we'll ask the right questions during an initial consultation to understand what's happening and recommend a path forward.
- Do you see both adults and teens?
- Yes. Mind Link provides age-appropriate psychiatric care for both adults and teens, with treatment plans tailored to each stage of life.
- What conditions do you treat?
- We treat a range of conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma and PTSD, and binge eating disorder.
- Do you offer in-person and online appointments?
- Yes. Mind Link offers both in-person appointments across the Miami area and secure telepsychiatry visits, so you can choose what works best for your schedule and comfort.
- Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?
- You're welcome to reach out and schedule with us directly. If your insurance plan requires a referral, we'll help you understand what's needed when you contact us.
- What happens during the first appointment?
- Your first visit is a thorough evaluation. We'll talk through your history, symptoms, and goals so we can build a personalized treatment plan together. Bring any relevant medical history or a list of current medications if you have them.
- Do you prescribe and manage medication?
- Yes. Medication management is a core part of our care. When medication is appropriate, we monitor how it's working and adjust your plan over time. If you have concerns about a current psychiatric medication, reach out and we'll help.
- What are my payment options?
- We want care to be accessible. Contact us to ask about accepted insurance and self-pay options, and we'll walk you through what to expect before your first visit.
- How do I get started?
- Use our contact page to request a consultation. Share your name, email, and preferred contact time, and we'll follow up to schedule your first appointment. Please don't include sensitive health details in the form.
